This is the cover to The New Baker # 1. Each one of these pieces was used to create the actual cover. There are 4 original drawn peices with the published cover. These piece were matted and framed to be put on display at MoCCA. This cover is matted at a huge 29" x 24."
Nightwing, Alfred, Robin, Gordon and a few others. The buildings in the background are stats with white out on them to blend the image together. Everything else is original art.
The number 1 (also the reprint) cover that was also used as posters and promos to promote the series. The art is on 2 seperate boards. The pen and ink chracter is on one 11x17 board and the buildings are in pencil only and on a seperate sheet of 11x17 bristol.
This large pinup by Campbell measures a huge 14" x 17" and is done ALL in (very tight)PENCILS. This was done for and labeled on the back, "Advertising Art" and is a published piece.
This image was drawn in ink on the backside of a envelope. The paper measures about 9.5 x 12.5. This piece shows what SANTA does on December 26th. A Classic Cho FINISHED piece done in the late 90's.
There are some condition problems on this piece though. In the upper right hand corner, there is a piece missing (shown in scan). There is also a little crease on the strippers left thigh.i have high lighted both points to make sure there is no confusion with this piece.
Snowbird splash page done completely in pencils. This was publsihed from Clayton's pencils because they didn't have time to send the pages to the inker (as they were already behind deadlines).
The entire Exiles team with Reed Richards and Sue Storm turn into Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible woman for the first time. That's Ben Grimm in the last panel.
